SEX/ Sodium Ethyl Xanthate/ Sodium Ethylxanthogenate is also used in the flotation of copper, lead oxide ores in conjunction with vulcanizing agents.
SEX/ Sodium Ethyl Xanthate/ Sodium Ethylxanthogenate is also used as precipitant in hydrometallurgical processes(eg. the refining of zinc electrolyte) and as sulfidation promoter of rubber.
